Years ago, my wife and I bought our first investment property. While it needed a lot of work, we figured we could do some of it ourselves and we would just pay a local contractor to do the rest. We learned that finding a contractor you can trust that is affordable was almost impossible. After doing research, we decided I could go to night school for HVAC and Plumbing for less money than what would cost to pay the contractor to do the work for us.
Once I completed night school and all our own repairs, we decided to use what I learned to help others. So I got my state licenses for HVAC & plumbing and started our own contracting company. We successfully ran that company for several years before selling it so that we could explore other interests.
In the last few years, we have heard countless stories of people being overcharged for the same services we used to provide at a fraction of the cost. While we realize inflation is real and costs always go up… Contracting prices today do not make sense. As a result we have helped some of our friends and family avoid the price gauging that is so common in today’s contracting market.
We have now come to the realization that we can still pursue our interests and help others in our spare time. We simply offer an honest price for an honest job. We are fully insured, and I have maintained my EPA certification. We also offer full labor warranty to match the factory warranty that comes with all new equipment.
We are not “fly by night” or “rookies with a truck” but our time is very limited. So we are only able to perform a few installations a month and we only repair what we have installed.
